🌾 Learning Beyond the Classroom | Kaushal Bodh – Class VI 🌿

From the classroom to the fields! 🌱
As part of the Kaushal Bodh initiative, the students of Class VI embarked on an enriching field visit to explore the cultivation and significance of rice, jute and water hyacinth.

The visit offered young learners an opportunity to observe local agricultural practices firsthand, connect textbook concepts with real-life experiences, and appreciate the invaluable relationship between nature, livelihood and sustainable living.

Experiential Learning is not just about learning beyond the classroom; it is about learning beyond the textbook.

As part of the CBSE curriculum’s experiential learning approach, our visit to Manovikas Kendra gave our Psychology students an opportunity to observe, interact, reflect, and understand the world of special education and developmental needs through real-life experiences.

The visit was a beautiful reminder that some of the most meaningful lessons cannot be taught through lectures alone. They are learnt through observation, empathy, patience, acceptance and human connection.

For our students, this experience was not merely an educational visit, it was an opportunity to see Psychology in practice, understand individual differences with greater sensitivity, and recognise the importance of an inclusive society.

Because sometimes, the lesson outside the classroom stays with us much longer than the lesson inside it.
